Message I am not disaggreeing with you. The fastest way through a curve is the straightest line that traction will allow, brake accordingly.
But most car that are popular for drifting are underpowered. Such as the ae86 and the 240sx.
If you dont have power you need to utilize momentum. thats where drifting comes in.
I wouldn't think of driving my Z like I drive my 240sx. The 240sx doesn't have much power so when you loose contact with the road your never really that far from recovery. Where as if you get to stupid in a Z it could bite you :)
